My notebook crashed and had to have a hard drive replacement. But I have no recovery media, so how do I reload Windows 10 and all the needed drivers on to the new hard drive? Go to Solution. See if your PC is supported by the HP cloud recovery tool which you can use to make a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook. I tried to create a USB recovery using that tool, but because the hard drive was bad, it could never make it through before giving me a blue screen of death and then crashed completely.

So I have no way of downloading the media. Thanks for the info estimation point I’m going to try it. But I’m thinking the crash during the attempt to make the USB corrupted it.
