Office Upload Center How do I get rid of it? – Microsoft Community
If I check an Excel file out of SharePoint and edit it. Then I close the file, clicking on save and then check-in. If I re-open the file I then get a message that the file has been modified on the server and I need to either keep the local copy or the server copy. Upload Center also shows the file stuck in the queue with upload failed.
Otherwise the file sticks in the upload center cache and causes problems. The file in the Upload Center cache is identical to the one in SharePoint.
So the file makes it find, Upload Center just “won’t let go” The file just sits there in Upload Center and eventually comes out if I don’t close Excel. Any suggestions on a fix? This is plaguing a bunch of my desktops I’d rather not disable upload center. Also setting Upload Center to delete the cache when the file is closed fixes it but it seems odd this would just start happening.

Removing that KB corrected the issue. Here’s the funny part. So I tried to manually install it before doing anything. My system however told me it was already installed but it wasn’t in the install list. I then removed and tried to install and it let it go through.
