I use this for audiobook narrations and this makes it easy to split a file before any goofs, delete the mistake and then pick up recording quickly. Automatic crossfades help ease transitions and with the “ripple effect” enabled when you remove a mistake in post-editing the rest of the sound files move as one to fill in the gap so you don’t have to move each section manually. And don’t even get me started on all the wonderful effects and mastering tools– I just don’t have time to tell you how fantastic they are just trust me– or better yet, download the demo and do the interactive tutorial.

Requires accessing the “hidden” Administrative privileges under Windows 10 to ensure a clean activation even if it was working under Windows 8.

It will take me quite awhile to unlock all the tools in this great package. Its version 11 on Watch out for this product. Its version 11 on the Amazon website and I kind of had indications that version 12 was out there.

Think I’ll just stay with version Great product for my work. I haven’t used it to record much, that takes a little getting used to. A little complicated for me, but exactly what I needed. Very professional quality recordings. I only use it for spoken word recordings, but I love having the ability to correct, cover and continue without any fuss.

The editing and mastering tools are great. Glad I got it. It is simple and easy to use. Excellent product. Completed control over editing sound recordings and syncing to videos. The CD was scratched a little but still usable. Not fully compatible with Windows 10, despite stamp “Windows 10 compatible”. I had to go on the new owners website “Magix” to download the latest version that is not fully compatible with Win I checked a few forums and everybody is not happy with your product in Win I purchased a product that I cannot use at full performance.

Not Happy,. Perfect sound editing tool for professional and home users. It works like a charm! I’d love to have impulse responses for the acoustics mirror feature in the package.

So the process is more destructive, but editing audio this way can be more constructive as you’re analyzing the audio in a different way and mind set. The Plug-in Chain Interface is a great new inclusion.

It allows better handling of the plug-ins and how they are chained together. It’s very easy to add effects to this plug-in chain. Now you can chain an assortment of effects together. The effects can be moved around the signal chain if you wish to apply different routing options with the effects. There is the iZotope Nectar Elements. This is a cut-down version of Nectar but provides many of the most popular functions. It can be used to fix pitch problems, de-ess any problem vocals, or reduce room noise in your audio recordings.

So a perfect tool to use on vocal recordings if you want to correct some of the inaccuracies in the audio. And then there is the iZotope Mastering and Repair Suite which is an added bonus to your repertoire of audio editing effects. This includes more noise reduction and repair tools. Sound Forge does include its standard Sony noise reduction and repair tools, but you have a bit more tweak-ability with the iZotope suite.

On top of the iZotope’s tools there is the inclusion of the Zplane’s elastique timestretch tool. This is an amazing timestretching and pitch shifting plug-in. I was recently working with an artist who wanted to pitch shift material that they had already recorded and couldn’t return to it for a remix.
